When It's Time

In the future, when it's time

time to leave the nest,

Will you act like the rest?

Or will you fly 

To new heights

And achieve the things in the sky?

Will you sit out back

and wait for things to go your way?

Or will you work hard

day by day?

Basically, what I'm saying is

Are you going to be lazy

or doing something?

Where will you be 

when it's time?

I will be in a hospital

Hope to be known as prodigal

In a doctor's room

Helping others escape the tomb.

By saving their life, I will do a great deed

And help the patient live with great ease.

When it's time

Time to leave the nest,

A doctor is what I'd like to be, at best.
